During each KILN tent event guests were asked to create a recipe card for hospitality answering the question ‘what is your most memorable moment where you have either given or received hospitality?’ These recipe cards have been archived and now I am seeking to replicate each one in order to explore the diversity and breadth of how we can live out hospitality and to develop a more critical understanding of the importance of hospitality and commensality (being together around a table) within our lives and in wider society. These are the first ten cards that I have replicated: for each I have considered the original context and how this relates to my current context. Consider the recipe card, the photograph and the audio story. I hope this archive will extend and challenge the boundaries and boxes that we have erected to contain hospitality. I hope that it inspires creativity, breadth and depth in your own hospitality.
