The first outing of my KILN tent at Leeds Art Christian Union exhibition 'Bound and Free'. I was asked to speak on what it means to be bound and free as an artist who is part of a world that is built on pursuing freedom from the shackles of the institution. With that age old question of what is art and does my art have to be defined and boxed? As an artist, I am part of a history of freedom fighters. And as a Christian, I know that I am free in my art making because the ultimate art maker [God] made me to reflect his character, he delights in my art making and he gives me freedom to explore every aspect of this world in my art.
